Sphero took the wraps off its toy version of the biggest new star in the Star Wars: The Force Awakens movie. The BB-8 droid has captured the hearts of fans around the world. Watch the cool promo video below.
The app controlled BB-8 has his own evolving personality. The little droid zips around in the same fashion like in the movie. His head floats on the spinning larger sphere. Features of the little high-tech toy include Bluetooth with 30m range, gyroscopic propulsion, 60min. battery life and inductive charging.
The Sphero BB-8 comes with a charging stand.
Sphero mixed a bit of Furby into the BB-8. The droid develops over time a unique attitude. It reacts to the owner's voice and even perks when addressed.
The BB-8 can also record, send and view holographic messages.
